We Can Be Heroes - More Art!
So we hit our second stretch goal of $16k and that means we are getting more art in the book. That means we've unlocked our next stretch goal and that's going to be EVEN MORE ART!
You might ask yourself, "Didn't we just unlock more art with the last stretch goal?"
You sure did! Now we are commissioning even more art for the starter adventure (included in the book) and some more enemy stat blocks.
Our illustrator, Max Bare, is uber talented and we want as much of his work in the book as possible. Our next stretch goal is $20k and that's going to be a tough one to hit without some help. Make sure you share the campaign wherever and whenever you can and help us get to the next level!

Second Stretch Goal - Almost There!
We are so close to that second stretch goal where we will get more illustrations in the book by the amazing Max Bare.
Please share our project on social media and with any friends that may be interested. Help us get more art for everyone!
We are hosting a tournament like no other! Ok, maybe it is kind of like the big basketball tournament happening this month. But this one is superheroes in 1v1 battles!
1v1 Superhero Showdown
Each match-up will be a 1v1 fight between two well-known superheroes chosen by our Discord community. Voting will be open to the public to determine the winner of each match. The voting will be done through Instagram polls on the BudStuff Games account.
Please submit your bracket through Challonge and the closest to a perfect bracket wins. We will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes.
There will be AWESOME PRIZES like a custom We Can Be Heroes themed set of dice from Smore Dice, a We Can Be Heroes hoodie, and a We Can Be Heroes T-Shirt.
Rules of the Tournament
In order to be eligible to win:
- You must follow BudStuff Games on Instagram
- You must follow Smore Dice on Instagram

Fill out a bracket (one bracket per person)
- Use your Instagram handle as your bracket name
- Keep comments civil and respectful. Heroes have feelings too.
In the case of multiple winning brackets, winners will be selected randomly from that pool of winning participants.

We Made it to $14k!
Everyone get excited because we are going to be including 5 additional superpowers and 50 additional enemy stat blocks in the book!
What's Next?
We are looking to hit the next stretch goal of $16k to unlock 15 additional illustrations for superpowers and enemies. We want to put our illustrator, Max Bare, to work and get some more of the incredible illustrations to bring our book to life.
